So many people suffer from addictions, and that hits the loved ones in their lives real hard!! Later I may post about a current item in the news, but for now here's a poem I borrowed from here.

Disease,
I am writing to inform you that you suck!

just a buck!

I wish I would have slammed the door.
You promised such an exciting life,
But the payouts just weren't worth the strife .
Now you keep begging me to stay
Yet I'll keep pushing you away!
